My Apologies

Yeah. So, I'm sorry about that Dropping Off of the Planet thing I just did. I was out of town, again. Just closer to home, this time. That's right. I am no longer in Wisconsin. But, even though I was closer to home, I was farther away from the Internet. And I kind of didn't get the chance to tell anyone that I was going to be away.

So I think many people thought that the journey between Wisconsin and Ohio took 12 days. Or that I died somehow. But that is very untrue! I am more alive than ever! Only, with a common cold!

:(

I was somewhat horrified to see that OMGJ seems to completely shut down and freeze in time whenever I am away. I was expecting to see 45 new articles and numerous page and store updates and things of that nature. But I didn't realize just how bad Jeremy and XV's horrible WoW addiction has gotten.

It makes me sad.

I feel like how I feel whenever I learn that good friends of mine have chosen the path of hardcore narcotics, or some other lifestyle choice that will make lives difficult and probably shorter. This computer game... It is like the crack cocaine AND heroin of the video game world. It makes me gravely concerned.

Anyway, I am back again, and I intend to write an article tomorrow, God willing, and also, I intend to nag at everyone concerned who is involved with this site for a very long time until things start getting done around here. It seems to be the only thing I CAN do, really.

Did I Ever Mention That I Really Like Milwaukee?

I am having an excellent time. As I sit here, I am drinking Jolt Cola bought from one of the last places I have ever seen it sold. I am about to dig into a chicken pita sandwich from my favoritest restaurant on earth, which is just 3 or 4 blocks away from where I am right now, Ma Fischer's. And finally, I am listening to Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Band, which I didn't get a copy of until I made this trip. I must say that it would be totally worth it, just for this music. But fortunately, a thousand other happy things have also happened. I will miss Wisconsin, and most definitely Milwaukee.

I should probably move here again someday. Perhaps the OMGJ Global Headquarters should be located here.

Speaking of OMGJ Business, I am hoping for more reader comments this entry. You know, sort of a continuation of last time.

I would say that it looks like we will probably make a book someday. But we will probably have to have a fundraiser of some sort, as I don't think we, ourselves, can pull a collective $400 or however much it was right out of thin air... Thin air found in our own asses, too, presumably. But we will figure out what to do with that bridge when we come to it.

However, I have been thinking of the Miscellaneous Items which we will be selling at the cafepress store. Particularly, I have been thinking over the Posters. Specifically, I am wondering what any of you would prefer in poster form. I figure that there should be at least one of Jeremy in an evocative pose with very little on and teased hair with a snake on him and a falcon or something on his arm. You know, like how that old Christina Applegate poster was in the 1980s. I have no interest in such an item, myself, but I figure that there are probably some horrifying people out there who enjoy this site. We must not exclude them.

But as for the rest of you: What do you suggest?

Answer a lot and forever please. <3

A Blog Entry In Which I Hope For Reader Comments

Jeremy and I have been talking about the future of the OMGJ Store. And I have a few questions for you kids.

Well, mostly - what is it that you want?

I know that we have very few options right now. I have drawn like 15 different fine shirt designs, but we don't have them up for some reason. Also, I think I've noticed that they all have omgjeremy.com on them, when we had wanted a few of them to NOT have reference to an actual url on there, because, well, I know I wouldn't want to wear a shirt with a url on it in public, so I don't expect every reader here would want to.

Also, I understand that there is a strange thing with the availability with only black tshirts of medium, I think, and large. Some people have requested smalls, others, 3XLs. And I believe xv has accomodated them. At least, I only assume he has because he's in charge of the whole Store scene and doesn't inform us with weekly progress reports. Also, we seem to actually rarely see him online anymore. Or at least I don't.

As it stands, the shirts are relatively cheap. We make very little profit on them, from what I am told. XV makes them himself, by hand. He actually put in like $100 of his own money to gather the materials to start with, and he uses only the finest materials. For real. I know a lot of people who have used an option like cafepress, and their shirts have cracked within two wearings. Our shirts do not do that because that's crappy.

However, if what we currently offer doesn't include a wide enough variety, we may have to go to cafepress. Even though the shirts might cost a bit more, flake away instantly, xv will lose money, and most of the profits will go directly to cafepress. Also, it will annoy me because I really don't like them.

But it would be easier...

Or, I guess we could theoretically offer shirts here and use cafepress as a way to offer coasters, shot glasses, thongs, pillowcases, and whatever other junk they allow these days.

Or or or - I guess we could just leave things as they are...

Does anybody else have any suggestions? Please - talk about it - a lot.
